BE it enacted by Parliament in the Forty-seventh Year of the
Republic of India as follows:-

An Act further to amend the Supreme Court Judges (Conditions of
Service) Act, 1958 and the High Court Judges (Conditions of
Service)
Act, 1954.

1. Short title and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Supreme Court and High Court Judges (Conditions of Service)
Amendment Act, 1996.(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 11th day of January, 1996.CHAP
