Established in Aden by the late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah in 1927 in the city of Aden, the firm is the oldest and most established law firm in Yemen, and one of the oldest established law firms in the Middle East.

The firm proudly represented most of the shipping lines, insurance companies in the early years and later protection and indemnity clubs that were operating from the port of Aden. The firm continues to be the leading shipping firm in the country.

Over the past four decades, the firm steadily grew capitalizing on its reputation and vast experience, and is now the largest and by far the most prominent law firm in the Republic of Yemen, representing the most prestigious clients and acting for the largest projects in the country.
